I had been to this place heaps and Everytime I go out there I say to myself that I will click some snaps of the dishes that I order. However, once the food is on the table I simply forget it due to the mouth watering aroma and the hunger that kicks in. I am a fanboy of this place. Amazing service great food. PS: If you not a great spice lover (Hot food) do let them know ur pref beforehand.

One of my favourite places to eat in all of Wellington. If not NZ. Always amazes. Highly recommend the weekend brunch special: clay pot fish. And everything else on the whole menu!

Great food with average service. The goat curry (bone in) was very good and held its flavour, as was the mamak mee goreng. Several people ordered the chicken dosa special, which looked huge! The service was very slow. Most of our group had almost finished their lunch before the last person was served (we had to ask if they’d remembered the order). Then some were offered special Father’s Day desserts (but no cutlery to eat it with) and others weren’t. It gets very noisy in the restaurant when it’s busy, so it may be a different experience on weekdays or when it’s not lunchtime or dinner time.

Fantastic restaurant, amazing food. Love their Dosa which is available on weekends, and we had a fantastic fish curry! Will definitely be back on a regular basis

wow! The clay pot Fish curry is amazing so is the Goat curry. Fantastic host .Best South Indian Malaysian place in Lower Hutt . Have recommended to lots of my friends. And thank you to the chef for making such an authentic food.

We stumbled upon Pandan on Friday night. What a delight ...authentic flavours and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Ordered clay pot fish curry , Mee Hoon GorengChicken chops and Egg Chanai. Mouthwatering aromatic dishes cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced and good quantity. Will be going back to try their famous Ikan bakar. Highly recommended.

Worst takeaway I have ever ordered, $91 and still charged 50c for a bag. Chicken was just edible and prawns totally not what I expected. 4 tiny prawns amongst a pot of sauce. I am amazed you are still open. Would give no stars if I could,

Best Malaysian food we've had in Wellington. Our first experience of thosai/dosai in New Zealand. Supposed to be for lunch, we were there for dinner. The owner made it for us anyway after seeing our disappointed face. Came because our friend recommended. Braved the rain and severe weather—did not disappoint! The satay sauce, OMG, the SATAY SAUCE! We were in heaven.

We have been going to Pandan since they were in Tawa. As a family who love Malaysia and local food, this restaurant is better than local Malay, we feel so lucky they are only 20 main away from Johnsonville. We celebrate as many of our family occasions here that we can. From the goat curry, to the claypot fish, it is all a heavenly delight.
