Applying for relocation grant and have been mucked around !! Been told somr1 will ring me its been almost 4 days since any1 has mad contact I'm constantly trying to get on the phone with some 1!!

A lot of people who work at this office do not have a clue about NZ laws and acts and seem to do what is convenient for them and not what is actually lawful but its not the only WINZ office like this. I have had many difficulties and do not recommend this branch. Very inefficient and problematic with inconsistent information. Keep a paper trail but that may not even help you here. Could take 2 months before they get back to you to resolve a problem- way too long. Lack of communication and inefficiencies seem to be the main problems.

Besides the sometimes long wait to see a CM, I've never experienced anything too negative. As long as you show them you ain't an idiot, they won't muck you around. Knowing your rights & entitlements helps. If I have any hassles I see an advocate. If nothings still not resolved, I go straight to an MP. Nothing scares WINZ more than someone from Parliament.

Incredibly disorganised. Was there as my father was in hospital and was applying on his behalf for a disabled benefit. Completely useless and the lady at the front didn't seem to know certain procedures.

Waited an hour just to get told something I could have been told over the phone. I had an appointment for 2.00PM and was seen almost an hour later. The lady I had an appointment with didn’t apologise or even regard the time and was not helpful at all!

Since being full time Carer for my parents I've never went into this office so many times to get information. Last year May I stayed home to look after my parents, I would walk into this office at least twice a week. First time walking in I was greeted with an attitude, I was shocked with the tone of voice, the eye movements, the eyebrow lifts, the many sighs it just decreased my confident and hope knowing that I was going to walk out with no help at all which I did all they gave me was you're not eligible" or "sorry your not entitled for it" that's all I got everytime I walked in
