I had a smoke alarm activation at my home last night..the brigade was prompt and the firefighters so kind and reassuring...I hope they get more pay and more recognition for this essential service...I am incredibly grateful

Came out at very short notice to rescue a very frightened cat from the adjacent building roof. Top guys, thank you. Cat turned out to be very friendly, obviously someone's beloved pet, and is now in the care of the SPCA until owner found or will be adopted.
