The Gourmet Food and Wine is a must do tour. The day was perfectly organised. We had Gary as our tour guide Anne driver who was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. Would definitely do again.

Great afternoon out, what better to do on a rainy afternoon, beautiful wines at great locations, a number of wines for all different taste buds. The guide was amazing, very knowledgeable! Look forward to trying the other locations Appellation have to offer. The cheese at the end of our tour at Mt Rosa was so delicious with the different pairing wine options, would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Queenstown.

Great experience. Host Martin was friendly, accommodating and incredibly knowledgeable. Saw some great sights around central Otago and tasted some amazing wines. Good value for money.

This was our second private tour taken with Appellation Wine Tours and again we enjoyed a spectacular day. Our guide, Martin was a wealth of knowledge providing interesting and historical facts and all with a great sense of humor. The conditions were challenging at times with the biggest snow falls in years yet we felt comfortable and confident in Martin's skills to ensure our safety. A truly magical day tasting spectacular wines, enjoying the amazing snow covered scenery and dining on delicious foods. I highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to enjoy the beast culinary delights of Central Otago.

Sadly missed an opportunity to experience this wine tour! I left five messages and called several times prior to our scheduled tour date… but found out after that the phone number was incorrect on our itinerary! :(I am truly sorry for the people that were impacted and delayed because of our absence!! If you book a tour, a 48 hour cancellation/change is required.

An absolutely wonderful tour, Martin was a fantastic guide and every winery we visited had its own unique story and lovely wines. The small group sizes they offer on these tours make it fun and personal. The views were spectacular.

I was in Queenstown for a work conference and the conference organised a wine tour and we were lucky enough to go with Martian from Appellation Wine Tours.The bus was a small Mercedes mini van and very comfortable for our group of five people - it could have easily fitted three more people.The tour included four wineries with lunch and took about 4 hours.The value for money was really good. The lunch was delicious and all the wineries were really interesting and the wines were really good.Martian our tour guide was really knowledgeable about all the wineries and the wine regions as well as other random fun facts about the area.All in all it was a good way to spend half a day.I would highly recommend this company

Loved this wine tour. Donna our guide was amazing and fun, and had some great tips. She was super knowledgeable about the local areas and wineries too. We had the best time, trying and buying some great wines for the afternoon. Would definitely go again.
