We had the most beautiful wedding at the old church. Sarah was amzing to work with and the whole day was so relaxing, staying at the stunning Villa is definitely a must as it give you such a beautiful backdrop for pictures while being a 30 second walk to the venue. I can't recommend this place more.We had such a wonderful wedding.A+J

I had the pleasure in MCing Kristen and Michaels wedding a week ago. Wow what a venue, the food was incredible, staff professional and Ange - what a superstar - absolute pleasure to work with during the wedding, felt really supported in my role. I couldn't fault The Old Church/Ortons!

James & his team catered our intimate wedding at a private venue in Hawkes Bay. We wanted elegant & simple but with lots of flavour & choice. We had canapés & champagne whilst the guests arrived & before we served the main meal. The food was superb but most importantly the team were great & made the day. James came out to scope out the venue before the event & his chef, Chris & the event staff were simply amazing on the night. Couldn't ask for better!

We had Orton's cater our work Christmas function. The staff were professional and well organised. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all our staff. The ease of the night made it one to remember, we will be using Orton's again!

With giving Ortons/The old Church only 6 days notice of our wedding, all I can say is WOW! They went above and beyond and exceed our exceptions. We are so grateful for your help with the Taikura Rudolf Steiner School Graduation Celebration. You were so helpful rescheduling and rearranging the event (which otherwise would NOT have happened). The food was fabulous (including arrangements for those of us who are vegetarian); the table setting was beautiful; the service attentive but not obtrusive; and the room layout with separate spaces for speeches, a screen to show slides, and a dance space worked so well. This graduation celebration will be a fond memory for our students. THANK YOU!
