When my car unexpectedly broke down in Motueka, Tony Bowater happened to show up and kindly offered me his brand new blue Supra to get back to Nelson. This is 5 star Toyota service and above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Tony.

The people were concerned and attentive but I was given incorrect information on the phone about the service I requested. So I just got the part but didn't get the service... So not an awesome experience.

Service department is excellent. They are honest, (I know! You can actually trust them), helpful and very competent. Customer service is excellent. No long waiting times; they just get on with it.

On holiday in the South Island, I had an issue with my key of my Prado. Jaan and his team ensured they squeezed me in to help fix my issue, and got me further help from their Nelson branch, so I'm back on the road to continue our family holiday!Great customer service!

Edit -2 stars. Came back recently to get some snow chains sorted as this shop offers to order them for you. I had a different member of the staff which seemed incredibly bored of my request and not interested at all in me purchasing them through Bowater.Purchased roof racks for my car. Not only did staff help me to figure out which ones I need, but ordered and installed it as well for a good price. Very satisfied with the work and great costumer service throughout the purchase. Thanks again

We took our van in to get a timing belt change as our timing belt light had come on and we were about to sell the van so wanted to get it sorted first.When we picked it up, the ignition point had dropped so much that it was difficult to even get the key in and the timing belt light had not been turned off.We booked it in to be sorted out the following week.Before that time came, the potential buyer had asked us to get it checked with AA so we did.The mechanic there found that whoever had previously done a job (Bowater Toyota) had recently snapped the fan and then left it on top of the engine.We took the van back in and they denied having done it, claiming that it must have been done by whoever did the previous work on it. Unfortunately, it was them who had done the previous service/work on the vehicle so it was definitely them.They said that they would do the rest of it and then not charge us.We didn't have a vehicle for 2 days and were not offered a courtesy car.When I went to pick it up, they tried to charge me.I did not want to pay for work which was their fault.After a while, they agreed not to charge me but asked me to leave.I then asked for the invoice/receipt of the work and was denied it.I was told that it was their form and I could not have it.I asked for a photocopy and was told no.I asked again and, after whiting out any charges, it was photocopied and I was given a copy.As I left, I was told that I was not welcome back there again.

Wonderful friendly and professional service. My car was dirty when I dropped it off for a WoF, and clean when I picked it up! Thank you very much, it was a much appreciated unexpected surprise.

Wonderful and excellent customer service, I just forgot the name of the person who served us was very friendly and supportive. My next vehicle would surely be a Toyota. I encourage you to go there and experience it yourself, even if you don't want to buy a new vehicle after your experience with this person you would change your mind.
