Unfortunately i won't be going back here, the owner needs to turn up his hearing aid up as had to repeat ourselves multiple times, small chicken souvlaki was tiny and was $10 had lots of celery and i asked for sweet chilli and got hot chilli. Partner got the double chicken with no chilli and the coleslaw in it tasted off so went in the bin. Asked for a chocolate shake and paid extra for icecream but on drinking it had no icecream it tasted off as well not chocolate tasting at all and off to the bin it went. Nice elderly owner but needs to retire.

Sauvlaki is my favourite, hands down! This wee takeaway is a wonderful gem of a place to get your sauvlaki, freshest I've ever had and everything is made from love, including the bread which he makes himself! The meat is seasoned by the owner and is unique and delicious! The owner is so friendly and is a real pleasure to chat with! Ignore any bad reviews, it's worth coming here to see for yourself!

my partner got us dinner from here tonight and it was truly awful. They messed up on the chilli sauce, the bread was soggy and the meat and falafel was cold and sloppy. Really disappointing to waste our money with no offer of a refund. Definitely don’t go here!

Best Falafel Souvlaki ever . So fresh. Very tasty . Great choice of meals. Great for diabetics too! Would have it every night it's so yum! Owner very friendly! Excellent! Close to SH 74.

I had hopes for this place from the positive reviews, but I was horribly disappointed.Dry, thin wrap that was the kind you can buy at a supermarket. Ordered the double, but it was tiny. Salad was full of celery and radish. Chicken was under flavoured. Only had a few bites and tossed the rest.

Phone order, had to repeat over and over. Said will be 15 minutes. Arrived and waited another 20 for 4 small souvlakis. When we got home they were tiny. He had put chilli in all and we only asked for 2, the lamb smelt like fish. We asked for tabouli and not one had this, only sloppy lettuce. Tasteless and terrible service. We ended up throwing them out, worse $42 dollars ever spent. Do not recommend. Go next door to Bower fish and chips much better.

My review is based on a comparison with at least 5 other souvlaki takeaways in Christchurch. Unfortunately this was by far the least favorable experience. We ordered by phone, waited an extra 20mins. This does not normally phase me too much if the rest of the experience is good, but sadly the meat was dry and lacking any discernable flavor. The sauce was bland shop bought and the bread (double in this case) smaller than other outlets. I gave two stars as I have come to expect this level of quality from the average takeaway in this area, but when compared with other outlets it would be a 1. Wont be heading back, rather drive the extra 10mins for superior quality and service

We enjoyed our food. It was tasteful and everything is home made and you can taste it.The lamb is back steak and yummie compare to some others we had in the past. I do recommend this place.

Delicious freshly made soulaki with really pleasant kind customer service. Made the salads fresh for me as I can't eat onions. I rate this place and will be back to eat here when I am in Christchurch.

Asked for sweet chilli and got hot chilli so couldn’t eat it. Small size is very very small.
