Spring Spa

I have been to the St Helier's branch frequently over the last few weeks with my daughter for a facial, massages and nails and can highly recommend Spring Spa. Each time we have come out feeling relaxed and pampered. A delightful experience which I would highly recommend

Went on the weekend for a nice spa day before my anniversary. I had gone to the ponsonby branch before which was fine but wanted to find something not so in the cityshich is why I gave this branch a shot. Unfortunately the experience has left me never wanting to return.The atmosphere wasn't the greatest but my biggest disappointment was paying a premium for a hot stone massage and getting nothing of the sort. I got a massage followed by the lightest brushing of hot stones. Ive had a lot of Massages and quite a few hot stone and the point is to be massaged with the stones. I should have just saved myself $50 and got a basic massage. The air con also wasn't on and the head rest was so pulled with blankets and sheets I could hardly breath until I was able to flip over. The experience just made me want to stop halfway through and and not relaxed at all.The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because I also got a milk and sandlewood pedicure and my nails turned out very pretty. It was odd that the foot bath and scrub was after my nails were painted though and there was no foot massage. In some fairness but also disappointment, the website descriptions of treatments are very minimal and lacking but for the price in comparison to other salons you would typically get a massage as well.Before I paid and left I was asked how it was and after hesitation I did say it was just okay but both women didn't inquire any further making me feel that they didn't care and just wanted me to pay and get out. I didn't get a text reminder for my appointment even though I overheard one of the therapist at the register insisting to another customer they send texts. So overall, an extremely disappointing and disheartening experience. My hunt for a decent Auckland Spa outside the premimim Chuan Spa continues.

I recently had a massage with Spring Spa St Heliers, and the therapist, Suma, was very professional, and had a calm, consistent approach that made relaxing very easy.

I had the most incredible Emma Lewisham facial with Daisy today. I’m pretty sure I drifted off to sleep at one point, it was so relaxing! This is exactly what I wanted and I would definitely request Daisy the next time I’m wanting to treat myself! Thank you!!

I had a lovely pregnancy massage today with Tiwani (not sure on the spelling sorry). She really looked after me, had great pressure and made sure I was super comfortable throughout. Looking forward to going back post baby for some more pampering!

I’ve been going to spring spa for massage regularly, but I have experienced quite a few miscommunications in booking with them on the phone. They have confirmed the booking on the phone with me however, they haven’t even made the booking which they said they did! They have confirmed the booking and I also double checked to make sure i had the dates booked. However, this time I had to postpone due to the person I get massage from was sick, of course I understood and was happy to postpone it. But I noticed i didn’t get a confirmation txt the day before so called in the morning to check and actually there was no booking made! I scheduled my day for it, but due to this occasion, I now have to wait another month to get the treatment. This has been a very disappointing experience with spring spa. They should be making sure all bookings are secure when they talk to customers on the phone…

I came to the Spa in August 2020 for a white colour Shellac. Shellac manicures should last for a couple of weeks. After a few days the polish started to peel. I went back to the salon and they redid my nails. The manager told me I could have a complimentary manicure for all the inconvenience.After they redid my nails (yet again white shellac) that very evening the colour turned blue!I went back - AGAIN - and they tried to blame me and say that I had touched something which would have turned my nails blue. This was absolutely absurd. The nail technician told me that the polish they had used was old and should have been thrown away.A month later I contacted them to use my complimentary manicure and the manger told me that I had already used it when I came back to get my nails redone after they had turned blue?!I ended up having to call and email them over a few days before they finally realised their mistake and allowed me to use my complimentary manicure. It was a huge headache and I won’t be going back, which is really unfortunate as I was a loyal customer.
