Stopped here on way through Hamilton. The pork rolls were delicious and had heaps of pork in them. The crackle was perfect. Their homemade garlic bread was yum and the kid loved the chicken nuggets. Nice friendly staff. Definitely recommend Rick's Roast Kitchen! I'll be back for sure!

The lamb tasted like mutton and seemed stale and dry. Peas and carrots not seasoned and very bland along with the gravy. Kumara tasted days old, same with the pumpkin. Gravy was too thick and semi coagulated whilst hot. This is definitely the worst roast meal I have ever had. Not what I expected as I looked up the reviews and it seems to be the highest rated I could find in Hamilton. Drove across town for a disappointing meal.

They give rather small portions of hot chips. Especially for the price. The fried chicken was very fresh, it wasn't dried out like it had been under the heat lamps for a long time. Also, if you're selling roast pork that is topped with crispy crackling, as much as you charge for the roast pork, you can afford to let people have the crackling on top of what they're getting. I shouldn't have to pay extra for something that should already be a part of the dish. Otherwise, you have excellent customer service skills! Also, everything I had was absolutely delicious! But, I do love that you're extremely close to the hospital!
