It's a lovely old hall, the oldest part of the building prior to the extention is over 100 years old. The hall was previously used extensively in its early days after being built for the community from funds raised by the early residents of Hinuera and the kind support of the Matamata Council. The Hinuera Hall has a wonderful history and after the completion of upgrades to the building in recent years it will ensure it remains a well kept community icon a much loved meeting centre for the Hinuera residents & visitors that support the continued use of community halls.

It had a good wooden dance floor on the main hall, a large supper room and a basic kitchen.

Excellent hall for all types of gatherings. Lots of space for kids to run around and play as well as a very functional kitchen area. Tables and chairs are all in good condition and easy to set up and put away. Bathrooms are clean and well looked after. Very impressed and would definitely hire again!
