Alpine Jet Thrills - Canyon Safaris

Awesome. Great experience with lots of unexpected extras. Beautiful scenery and of course the ride itself! Well worth the drive out.

If you want to have the best adventure of a lifetime go to Alpine jet thrills. The people were amazing and the jet boat was the most incredible fun ride we have had yet. Everyone got off the boat saying that that was the best excursion that they’ve been on.We had a wonderful lunch there, and then we heard about the history of the jet engine for the boats. They have a mini museum there that I found very interesting. However, the best part was the thrill of riding on the boat. We had a good 45 minute ride through canyons that were magnificent. And the 360° turns were a blast. Highly recommended by everyone who got off that boat.

It was so much fun!!! The staff were phenomenal! The jet boat ride was so much fun!!!! Little Boy and Lucky were so cute. The views were spectacular and unbelievable!

Following a few days of hiking/camping we decided to switch up the activities and drop by Alpine Jet Thrills near Springfield to see what was going on.It all started for us in the Jet Boat World hanger with a private history tour of a kiwi legend that revolutionised the jet boating industry. We then tackled a short bush track to learn about some of the native trees and plant species, in addition to meeting some very friendly sheep.We were then joined by some other people, chucked on our life jackets, and then made our way up the Waimakariri River on the jet boat, stopping off at a few historic locations for photos and education - some 360 degree thrills along the way of course.Once up stream, we turned around and jet boated all the way back down the river with a bit more splash and speed. Great fun and a highly recommended activity.We got lucky with a space on the day just by dropping in, however I recommend trying to book ahead where possible.For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction""

The jet boat ride was fantastic. Flat out 15 minutes return with almost 45 min of playing around. Paul was a gem and the provided lunch was delicious. Highly recommended

Lots of thrills on the jet boat, though avoid the seat in the last row, starboard side .... my wife was soaked to her skin & still has water in her ear a week later. Great lunch and a beautiful venue!
