Big Sound Speaker Repairs

Marius did a great job of repairing the damaged surrounds to our Wharfedale 500 speakers. I had forgotten how good the sound was coming out of them.

We came across Marius on Facebook and needed our old (but awesome!) Polk speakers fixed. Right from my first interaction I could see that he was passionate about providing great service and experience. He came for the service call and knew straight away what the issue was and we were happy to leave our speakers in his care. He followed through as promised with the report and costing and then the repair and prompt delivery back to us, making sure they were thoroughly tested before he closed the job. I was so pleased to find that my beloved, much travelled 20year old JBLs could be repaired. The rubber surround had completely perished. Shipped them off to Marius and after a while, and at what I think is a very reasonable price, back they came: PERFECT! I don’t think they’ve ever sounded better. Excellent service. On my vintage 47-year old Pioneer CS-911A speakers one of the 15” subwoofers had failed (age related corroded voice coil). Generally, vintage hi-fi repair costs are becoming prohibitive and speaker repair services are limited in the region. Based on the positive online reviews I contacted BigSounz. Marius was quick to respond to my enquiry, saying he was happy to have a look & advised how to safely ship the subs. The repair quote & final cost was very reasonable. Marius did his best to keep the drivers as authentic (original) as possible, whereas most other repairers would just slap in 3rd party hardware for a quick turn-around. I now have the speakers back and I’m very happy to hear them in their original glory. The customer service is fantastic. He kept in touch and updated me on the progress throughout. Marius is friendly and passionate about what he does. This is a repairer that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Great service. Had 5 car speakers not working and called to try my luck with wether I could get them fixed, was greeted with them saying they would be happy to fix them for me. For the complexity of the job, it was done in a good time and I was happy with how long it took. I have a pair of Infinity Speakers; each speaker box contains 5 speakers. Marius was able to bring life back into 4 speakers that needed to be repaired as basically they had fallen apart. I have to say I am thrilled with the result.
