Howick Laundromat

Clean place. Easy to use, pay via eftpos

It was our preferred laundromat for the last year and so... But lately it has declined in the service. You can see it's poorly maintained and cleaned and as is self service there's nobody to support the customer. There is a mobile number, but sends you to voice mail.The machines are dirty and have a bad odour after washing. I'm wondering if they clean them and sanitise them...We will be looking for another laundromat now...

No longer coin operated

Used to be able to pay with cash but now it's only electronic. And they've put the prices up however it's still reasonable. Would be alot more convenient if there was the choice to either pay with cash or by eftpos.

EDIT: I used to tell everyone about this place but the past three months have been awful. It's never clean or tidy and forget about the free WiFi working. It smells damp and like the machines aren't being aired out enough. The dryers still work wonderfully but the lint is now accumulating in the dryer. I worry about the hygiene of the machines considering the surrounding floor and tops of machines are so dusty and grimey. Unfortunately this is still the best and closest laundromat in Howick but that isn't saying much. If you can do your washing at home I would recommend you give this place a pass.Absolutely spotless, good prices, and excellent dryers! Also free WiFi and convenient parking. Plus the owners are lovely and helpful!

Great...very clean, easy to use machines ( of various sizes, change machine as both washers and dryers only take $1 & $2 dollar coins. I thought very reasonably priced. A wash, dry, fold starts around the $12.00 mark depending on load size.. I will definitely use them again ...

Nice and clean. Open late. Not a lot of parking considering lots of eateries next to it. Cash only and machines only take $1 and $2 coins. Come prepared as you can only take out coins from the dairy or a short walk to countdown.

I really like this laundromat, its small and almost hidden away but lots of people know about it though. On a rainy day over the weekend good luck finding an empty machine (I'd imagine all laundromats are the same).while you wait for your laundry you can use the free WiFi provided, all the machines only take coins and there is a change machine there, so take cash with you
