We experienced a very long wait but it was worth it, beautiful fish n' chips.. it seemed like a very popular place.. Very nice people.. definitely come back and try something else on their menu.. chairs and tables available on site.. Parking could be an issue if town is busy..

After watching a rather large ship leave the Harbour walk over to get some Fish and chips from Mt F&C.After a short wait off we went to find a seat overlooking the sea. So tasty and lovely crisp chips....yum!!Will return

Serving was disappointing, over priced for what it is. Paid $6 something for 1 piece of fish but got fish nuggets off the kids menu. For what it’s worth if you’re gonna spend so much money on fish n chips might as well go to Bobby’s at the strand in town.

I gotta say the food was excellent.Well cooked and everything tasted just like it should.I guess my biggest issue was with the price of the egg burger. I consider $5 to be about right, $6 is a bit excessive but the actual $7.50 was over the top.Don't get me wrong, it was a great burger... And it's hard to get old fashioned burgers like that these days (take my word for it, I've been looking).That said, we are in post Covid times, cost of living is through the roof AND if inflation gets any worse, we'll all have to move to Australia. So, in that regard $7.50 doesn't seem that bad.

Good fish & chips, friendly service, nice selection! The red snapper was of fantastic quality. But they don't accept Apple Pay, which is a bummer.

How disappointing…. Was really looking forward a good fish and chips and didn’t seems bad by reading previous comments. Unfortunately it turns out to be a an insignificant meal, a waste of money ($26), and a fest for the seagulls. Lady oversold me pieces of fish and fries. I ask for a small scoop of fries and enough small pieces of snapper equally to 2 standard fillets. She knew that it was for me and didn’t mentioned that it was a lot and that they only do one standard size for fries. Fortunately fish was ok but batter and fries tasted old oil. Husband is a chef and confirm that was the smell of a dirty oil. Tartare sauce was straight from a bottle. I have to ask for some lemons to make it slightly enjoyable but they were sold out and told me to go buy some next door. I was expecting better communication but Never again!

We came after hiking and swimming in the area for dinner. There was a long wait (45 minutes to an hour) when we arrived around 1800, but that could be because it was a public holiday. We ordered a family meal for 5 of us.Since it was a long wait we ended up going up to the Mauao summit and heading back to pick up the order. The tables outside were full but we just headed to the park to enjoy the food.Food was nice. There was a decent amount of fish, chips and other fried goodies in the family meal.
