Great small museum. The curators are friendly . You'll learn a lot about the Catlin's and the people. There are some cool stuff that explains about the local areaIf you are dropping by this small place on your way to to Catlin's and have some time . Just drop by to learn the history !

This is such an impressive museum. There are different setups and 'buildings' for different time periods. Well thought-out and presented displays and very friendly and helpful staff. Probably our best museum trip of the holiday across the whole South Island
