Rooms are really spacious, but tired, and certainly overdue some basic maintenance (paint chipping, fixings loose etc), but relatively clean and tidy and room has everything you need. No air con is surprising. Odd the website says game and movie room" in the opening paragraph (front and centre) but these two rooms no longer exist

Rooms are very small and need a decent clean/refurb. Stains all over the chair and marks over the walls.The toilet constantly runs which provides what sounds like a water feature during the night.The receptionist was extremely grumpy and couldn’t extend so much as a smile towards us. Made all of us feel extremely unwelcome which was a great start.The windows need attention as all windows in my room are cracked and they don’t open/close properly. The bathroom also needs proper cleaning and maintenance as everything is peeling.The facilities in the kitchen are non existent and weren’t even offered milk for coffees. We paid for breakfast the next morning however upon asking at checkin we were told they no longer serve breakfast, despite advertising this.The rooms aren’t very soundproof which means you can hear what the people next door are doing as well.On the plus side the bed was comfortable, the tv was a decent size for the room and the location is central.It would suit staying in for a night where you need absolutely nothing else except a bed. But would not recommend to anyone who wants something a bit more comfortable and clean.

Never again. Every window pane cracked and in some areas were patched with tape. Blowing a gale outside, freezing and shower curtain moving the other side of the room. Drew the curtains and realised I couldn’t as broken. Hair on an already squashed pillow prior to my arrival. And no hand soap in the bathroom, hand and body lotion! Asked to be relocated into another room and was told “no” no reason whatsoever but had the option of a duvet which I accepted. It was delivered without a duvet cover. Good luck for others who may end up in that particular room.

Receptionist was incredibly uninterested and rude. Made the first impression terrible. Rest of the hotel was as expected- tired but what you pay for. Overall, I would have stayed again if it wasn’t for the shocking customer service at the front desk.

Room smelled of bleach and I got ravaged by bed bugs. The duty manager was understanding but her supervisor was unhelpful and disengaged, saying it was mosquitos (impossible with windows closed and the AC fan on). Two days on and I’ve still got welts on my body. Very disappointed.

The receptionist was very rude, she wasn't interested in helping us at all.Parking was terrible. Arrived after travelling all day, no where to park.Had to walk for miles carrying all our luggage. No offers to help.Went to head out for a walk around town. Waited for the lift. It never arrived. It was broken, no signs to say it wasn't working.This morning lift still not working...Not good enough.Hopefully we will get some money back on our accommodation.The room was good

As a couple we were here overnight on business trip, Hotel was warm bed was comfy it was good having 2 rooms one with TV couch desk small coffee table, also had a single bed as there's a 2 seater couch, shower is small but good hot pressure that's always a bonus, shame there's no evening meals available & parking is on main street or there is extra parking out back you pay extra for..there is a wheelchair lift at front of hotel otherwise theres about 4 stairs to customer desk..overall it was good.

Stayed for two nights. After checking in and collecting key cards, they didn't work and I had to return to reception to get them activated. When I returned the next day the cards didn't work again and had to see reception again.Windows were left wide open in the room on arrival, and in order to reach them I had to climb onto the desk using the chair - not safe at all.Aside from that the rooms were fine, nothing to write home about and I could hear the people next door on the phone (including the person on the other end). Warm and comfortable enough though.

No air conditioning and the small room on the West side of the hotel on a hot day was like an oven. It took ages to cool down to an acceptable level by opening the one small window that could be opened, drawing the curtains and turning the humidifying fan on. The latter was in the room but the humidifier had a habit of turning itself off after 10 - 15 minutes run time.

Kitchen very ill equipped (no toaster, no spatula, fridge door missing shelving, etc...), level of cleanliness to be desired (hairs under oversized curtains on desk), bathroom too small and not functional. Overall dated and tired. Ditto for the living area. The windows only open slightly and there is no air con in the room making the place very stuffy. Very poor standard. Won't be back. Quest down the road has a much better standard.
