Had some decent specials. Store has been laid out differently from when I was last there.... (over a year ago) so looked great. However, dusting is clearly not something that is done regularly. So many things I saw and picked up were covered in a thick layer of dust. That was also the problem last time I'd been in. Need to work on keeping displays and shelves clean and dust free.

We had a very bad experience in this shop yesterday, my partner and I just moved to Dunedin from Auckland a little over a month ago, and the reason we chose to move to Dunedin is, when we were travelling here before, it was beautiful, it was natural, it was quiet, people were enjoying the slow pace of life, people were friendly, so we moved here. But yesterday, while shopping at your store, the shop assistant showed no smile or patience, was very impolite, and kept urging me to pay. This kind of experience is really frustrating. We hope the store manager can pay attention to this matter.

Major renovations being done but business as usual. Staff very helpful as shop was quite crowded with stock and I found it a bit confusing trying to find what I wanted.Renovations done now a great we shop for crafts and hobbies and other soft furnishings for the home and gifts.
