I found the specific item I was looking for on JayCar's website. I went to the store to buy it. The staff member was sitting behind the service desk and that is where he stayed! I told him what I wanted and they didn't have it in stock, neither did he know what I was talking about. He asked me to point it out on his computer screen. He made no effort to order it in for me and just said I'm better off buying it online. See you later ... not. I did buy it online but I supported another business.

I find it ok, but there is one member of staff who I feel uncomfortable around. I don't know whether he means to be or not, or if he realises, but I always either feel like an idiot who is wasting his time, or like he suspects I am a theif. Its bizzare, I don't know why I get those feelings. It's probably just me, and I apologize if I'm making him sound bad and he reads this.

Re Don JeereI've always found the Staff very polite,helpful and only to happy to give guidance when they can.Sounds like the customer was in the wrong shop ! if your lady friend was looking for an HDMI socket for an X box she'd need it repaired.Some people get right stroppy when they don’t get what they want.These guy's deserve a medal for the work they do looking after non technical people :)

Terrible staff. So condescending and unprofessional. Really made me feel uncomfortable. Staff member I dealt with did not listen at all when I told him what I wanted (which was very specific) then proceeded to talk down to me and treated me like I had no idea. Safe to say I will be taking my business elsewhere next time.

These guys are a couple of ledgends. I came in for a GoPro charge chord and left with exactly what I needed and printed directions to some of the best food I've ever eaten. They were very helpful and friendly.

I went into this store to buy a replacement ethernet cable. While the junior staff member in the store was friendly & helpful, his supervisor was anything but. For example, when I asked the supervisor to look at the info printed on my faulty cable for clues on the type that I needed, he claimed he could not see it even though his assistant could. I ended up buying a straight-through cable when in hindsight I needed a cross-over cable, which the supervisor should have realised. I will not go there again unless I absolutely had to and I knew exactly what product I needed.
