Yeah I like this schools teaching.EDIT:I am bumping my review down from a 5 to a 4, just because of something to watch out for is the bus system. It quite Frankly sucks. There have been countless times I have missed my bus and had to call and Uber just because my bus driver couldn't be bothered to wait an extra 2 minutes. The bus works but not very well. Would expect more from a private school

Pinehurst is a really good school. Most of the teachers are caring and very nice, and so are the students. The students are very fun to be around and they are really nice. There is a bit of racism in this school, which is a bit disappointing but its just the students. Otherwise, I learnt alot of things in this school, and it improved my grades. The school is also very small, which is a good thing because there is a lower chance of being late to classes. The new theatre is also really cool, especially the class with windows as walls (the corner room). The busy bean cafe is also really delicious, and the uniform is drop dead gorgeous go to this school now

Awful schoolThe school runs from year 1 to year 13, is supposedly one of the highest achieving academic schools in New Zealand, as well as being one of the most expensive, but is it good? I was a student at the school for almost seven years so I should knowIn 2017, the school's founding principal, Sherida Penman-Walters, who had had the role since the school was founded in 1991, retired and was replaced by Alex Reid, previously at Westlake Boys High School, he has since implemented some questionable rules and also is trying to increse the size of the school to over one thousand students, which is much more than the seven hundred that the school previously had, getting rid of the school's small-school character. Making the school even worse than it previously was; the school is bad for a number of reasons:Firstly the school has biased punishment, school didn't like me and gave me detentions without reason in intermediate, also the school is full of people who are either extremely wealthy and show off about it; or a large amount of Asian students that don't speak English and students that speak English as a first language (like me) are expected to help them even if we don't speak any Chinese! The school is also now apparently in a poor financial situation after building it's new buildings; a new college block, college 4, as well as many new classrooms in the primary that the school has built on one of the school's fields, and a new library, which is still under construction and is expected to be completed some later this year. The majority of staff at the school, don't treat you well, some treating you like you are much younger than you actually are, like Angela Smith, who treats intermediate and collage students almost as if they are new entrants, as well as the school's teacher-librarian"

Pinehurst values its students and assure they become more educated individuals. There are awards for not only academical purposes, but also sports. They provide Cambridge end-of-year checkpoints in intermediate, and the teachers make them well prepared. The school is open to new opportunities for students, such as clubs, extra curriculars, and more.

I've been here since Year 1 and have never been bullied once. Everyone here cares about each other and students and teachers alike are very kind. The academics are also very good. They follow the Cambridge curriculum which helps everyone improve their learning and education. Overall good school ^^

Due to the highly monitored no-bullying system, Judging is a very common trait presented by senior Pinehurst students. Recently a challenging chemistry test was done in Year 11, Many students failed to pass and were forced to do chemistry tutorials to catch up. A lot of people failed this test and I find it unfair that they when failing an easier test nothing happens compared to when you fail a hard test. Plus some students believe that other student are racist behind their back so they believe it is acceptable to create harsh racist comments towards them, Just because they believe they are the minority and believe that they have to the right to say vulgar things.Mrs Boam is the GOAT, sad to see you leave. (if u don't believe this sentence you're completely and utterly wrong)
