Visited for my daughter's 18th Birthday, table of nine. Yes,drinks were very slow to arrive but the food was amazing. Everyone was friendly and the rice-bowl catching wonderful. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it to anyone! Thank you! ありがとう

I’ve been coming to this place for years and are in my top 3 restaurants in Wellington. Food is always so flavourful and tasty with good portion sizes. The vegetarian set is delicious and is my new favourite. They play interactive games which are always fun for the kids. The guy at the counter is always so welcoming and nice. I wish I caught the name of the chef that I had last time because he is my favourite and cooks everything perfectly.

Food is absolutely delicious here. Everything thing is delicious and the overall experience of the food being prepared it excellent. I enjoyed the whole night and portion size is perfect. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We've been a few times now and while not cheap, it's pretty cool for the spectacle of the large flames, watching the speedy chefs do their thing in front of you, and catching bowels of rice and eggs which is always a crowd pleaser. The food generally tastes good, although I had the steak for the first time and it was incredibly chewy which was very disappointing, so won't have that again.The restaurant extraction fans struggle to keep up with clearing all the cooking smoke and could do with a revamp or some more added to the ceiling to grab the extra smoke the big fans miss. The toilets were quite disgusting" and not well maintained so need some serious attention

I went there with my partner to have dinner the first day of the year and we had such a good time.The chef was amazing and entertained us with his teppan skills, plus the food was absolutely delicious.Even if they were clearly understaffed, our server did his best to serve our drinks as fast as he could, which was very appreciated.100% recommended.

Had a really awesome dinner here with my family. It was my first time experiencing the food being made in front of me. Even though we shared an extended dining table with other patrons, it felt very private nonetheless! The ‘cooking show’ was so much fun for us all, and we were in awe at the chef’s amazing talent. He was very engaging and friendly and the food was incredible. Very filling and it was quite nice having breaks in between each different meal to watch and chat and enjoy each thing that was made. Catching the rice and the egg was hilarious! The food was all mouth watering and the ice cream at the end topped it off. We all really enjoyed ourselves and the staff were all lovely. Nice authentic gem to find in the Wellington foodie scene! Will definitely be returning. I recommend the emperor meal (sorry if I have that wrong. It was the $65 set meal and included fish, chicken, steak, rice, green tea, ice cream etc)

We had a booking, we were seated 30 mins after the booking time, the drinks order took 40 mins for 2 vodka lemon lime and bitters, 2 cokes a an orange juice, the chef was another wait of 30 mins. When he arrived we were actually looking at where else we could go eat, it was late by this stage and hungry teenage girls is not fun for anyone.The chef was the ONLY saving grace, he was funny and understood the importance of coeliac disease
