This is a large grocery shop that technically has a large range but is let down by awful stock management. They are out of stock far too often, especially on Sunday nights. I dropped in tonight for a small list of essentials for the kids school lunches for tomorrow and they were out of stock for half the items. They have also been out of stock of ciabatta buns four out of the last five times I have tried to buy them here.Also, someone here clearly does not like dogs. It is a bit strange for a suburban supermarket not to provide a tie up point for dogs, especially one with such a big entrance and car park like this one. Not only that, they have a sign saying no dogs allowed at all as they are such a big safety issue. I guess you can see why in the 2nd photo, the cataclysmic scene outside Thorndon new World when they allow marauding packs of vicious dogs to be tied up at the entrance....

Over the past 2 weeks I've found they are so low on meat the shelves were nearly empty, veges were low, including bags of salad some were brown and mushy. Not like them at all

Next to a hospital, handy when I had a few hours to spend waiting. Got coffee and lunch in the Cafe. Nice location.
