Heaphy Track Help

We had a seamless experience travelling from West to North - the team at Heaphy Track Help were super helpful and it was wonderful to have our car with our home comforts waiting for us at the end of four days on the track. I would highly recommend you look in to this as an alternative to an expensive flight or a loooong bus ride. Five stars all around.

These guys offer a fantastic service. Richard went out of his way to try and accommodate my shifting dates, and could not have been more helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend them, and I will definitely use them again.

We asked Richard and his team to relocate our motorhome from Browns Hut to Kohaihai carpark and they did a great job. The van was waiting for us when we arrived (a little early), instructions for dropping off the keys and collecting them were clear and accurate, and overall the experience was great.Compared to the 5 of us having to fly or bus back to Browns Hut, collect the van ourselves and then drive to Karamea to continue our trip through this beautiful part of the country, the decision to use Heaphy Track Help was a no-brainer. Great service, thoroughy recommend it.

Used their car relocation service for the Heaphy Track. Instructions were clear and the whole thing was seamless. Seeing our car at the end of the track after four days felt pretty good - next stop a meal and a cold beer.

Fantastic service which was really simple to arrange with clear instructions to follow. It made the logistics of the Heaphy Track monumentally easier! We did the track over 2 days and it was magical seeing our car at the other end, after having left it at the start just the day before. Using Heaphy Track Help is a great transport option when walking the Heaphy Track. With four of us, it cost far less than flying back to retrieve our car. And it is wonderful (and slightly magical!) to leave your car at one end of the track, walk for four days and come out the other end to find your car (snacks, clean clothes etc.) waiting for you! Would definitely recommend Heaphy Track Help - great value for money and logistically easy, especially when compared against other transport options. We had to change our dates on very short notice, and Richard rebooked us no problem and with no charge. So good to see your own car waiting for you when you're tired at the end of the track! Richard is an absolute lifesaver. After the cloud had set in and we were unable to fly to the Karamea end, we got in touch with Richard and were quickly able to confirm that he would be able to provide his service to us. This allowed us to continue on as planned, but instead of flying from Nelson to Karamea, we got in the rental car and drove (yes the Heaphy Track Help crew have a relationship with Apex and other car rental companies, so they are able drive their cars no trouble). We were very happy to walk out of the track 4 days later and find the car at the other end.In the future, I would just book with Heaphy Track Help, as this reduces any stresses associated with the potential of no flying conditions occurring at the start of the trip. It also allows for you to start when you want and finish when you want, putting the whole trip on your schedule.Heaphy Track Help are legends, thank you for allowing this trip to still happen for me and my partner. :)
