Mal's Barber Shop

Entrusted this barber shop with my pre wedding haircut and they aced the brief. Thanks team!

I’m absolutely devastated. I took my 16 month old in and asked for a trim. A trim. I said at least 3 times that I wanted to keep the curls. The barber then asked so same length all over, I said yes but keep the curls. Before I could register what had happened he drove a razor straight through the middle of his beautiful hair. I was in shock and didn’t register what had happened at the time and at that point there was nothing left to do but let him finish. I should have said something at the time but I was still in shock and trying to hold it together for my screaming toddler. It’s like the barber didn’t even hear what I said when I said keep the curls. 16 months of curls gone. I am heartbroken and devastated and won’t be back.

Economical, stylish and good service! Only if they can have more staff at busy hours will be like icing on the cake.

Didn’t catch the barbers name but was only his 2nd day and thought he done a awesome job! Both barbers on today were very vice and professional. They even offered me a coffee! Bunch of legends here, will definitely be back whenever I’m in Taupo.

Had a haircut, it looked OK at the barber, but once home and a wash, it turned out, that it wasn't that great. My usual man was on Acc. Never mind, I won't go back till he comes back to work
