Great park with good facilities. Slightly out of town for a walk, but an easy cycle. Access to waterfront restricted but available in about a kilometer.

Excellent camp. Dump site near entrance and plenty of parking areas. Located on north aspect of town.. too far to walk into CBD but is still handy.

Handy to township, walking distance to the best fish and chip shop, a very tidy and well organised POP.

Well set out Park.Rubbish and Recycling station was kept very tidy and easy to understand.The park is tucked away from the elements coming off the shoreline.Only issue for us was the road noise overnight along with the trains.

What a benchmark NZMCA park! Divided into separate rooms" makes it cosy. Legendary members' lounge with many power points which you can use to power ebike batteries for gold coin donation. Multiple freshwater sources and dual lane dumpstation. Separate area for generator use. Plenty of space for large rigs. NOTE only members can use NZMCA parks."

Great park, close to the cycle trails. Also very beneficial to be able to charge the ebike batteries. For members who don't have an inverter having access to power points is great.
