Best pies and cakes! I love the flaky custard squares and carrot cakes best but this is the best bakery around Auckland and trust me while working in roadworks I went to different bakeries almost every day. None match the taste found here. These guys sell out fast so you know the food is very fresh. Got to get in quick! If you know then you know.

Purchased a Custard square and apple turn over, I asked the lady at counter when this was made she replied today, I said it doesn’t look freshly made? and asked does she have any other custard square and she replied No. I love to support our local business, so I took her word for it this was freshly made today.Oh my I can guarantee you this was not made today, nothing about the slice was fresh at all. The pastry was burnt and was not pleasant at all. If you were honest with me which I knew you weren’t I wouldn’t have put this review up.

Love the old fashioned made and taste of their slices and cakes. Neopolitans to Die for and custard and vanilla slices are sooooo good. Expect to see your eyes widen as well as your waist when you eat here. Pies are excellent and if you are early enough they do a ham and cheese bun type thing which is gorgeous.

Best Potato Top in Auckland. Even wrote last potato top" on the label. It's made with real mash not instant and is seriously heavy. Probs nudging a tidy 800g-1000g. Did I mention cheese on top? Tastes like a proper wee cottage pie."
