0.61 Mbps upload, on speed test, spend more time trying to get online, DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS LOT! support is non existent. I notice you do reply to people's total disappointment but seriously who the f#$k want to hear how many users you have, I me and myself pay you good money for your poor service and pathetic replies. IT DONT CUT THE MUSTARD hq wifi, improve your bandwidth and stop being so miserable with the bandwidth and give Kiwi service, or quit the game.

Wifi works alright, I understand that owning this business could be difficult to manage a lot of wifi users. The login pages need updating immediately, they are built badly and hard for me to navigate, let alone older people or people who aren’t good at technology. When I tried to logon to my hotels free wifi code, I had run out, which is fine. I wanted more, so I clicked the button that redirected me to a payment page. No where on that page did it say to register. I ended up buying the $30 one for 10 gigs, and then the login page broke, but still charged me my $30. I then tried to make an account to access the data I had just bought, and I couldn’t. Meaning I had wasted $30 on data I couldn’t use, it was a bad redirect and should be changed to redirect people to the register page. After I registered and bought the $2 one to see if that would work. Luckily it did. But I still managed to lose $30 and I have no way of getting it back. I highly recommend that you hire someone to look through the login page and change the way it works, to make it easier to navigate. Please take into consideration that some people are not good with technology, and they could end up also losing money to the same thing as me.

I live in Shotover Lodge, here the WiFi from this company is horrible, every day have problems.

I called up and was a little abrupt because I paid for the internet and it wasn’t working.The man on the phone was really polite and patient.Sexybabe50 apologises to that guy! I’m now happily watching Netflix!Thank you

Trying to use at Queenstown Lakeview - just terrible bandwidth, slower than a snail. HQ wi-fi has also been at all of the Top 10 caravan parks and has always been sub-par, both in bandwidth and also in measuring the usage. Cuts out after a couple of operations claiming 1GB used. Meanwhile, struggling to use 200MB a day via Vodaphone which I use whenever out, and now starting to use in preference to useless HQwifi. Very poor standard of service!!!

Absolutely pathetic. Ironically i tried to write this review when in NZ.. but couldnt connect to the wifi. With out a doubt the worst internet I could have imagined. STAY AWAY.. use free cafes

Absolutely awful. Only works with phones, all other devices never even come up with a login screen. Annoying and terrible.

Have tried to login with an unlimited" plan. Definitely unlimited as I cannot connect phone. A landline phone would be faster. If I could give a minus rating I would. I have traveled around the globe and never struck this problem. Slow speeds yes. Never this problem"

Currently using this service at Peppers in Queenstown under a Airbnb arrangement through Relaxaway Holiday Homes. Impossible to do any business requiring internet use with this company. I have to go to a local cafe to do a teams meeting for work in the morning because this service is so poor. Speedtest - 9.7mbps checked after 4 days of sheer frustration - its 2022 shape up or ship out HQWifi you're slower than dial up in 1998 - an embarrassment! If youve got teenagers or are doing business in Queenstown check the internet provider and stay away for this company
