Top BnB. Greeted by wonderful hosts Kevin & Grainne. Outstanding service and very accommodating to ensure a great stay is to be had. Alot of effort was put in to looking after my partner & I. We could not thank you enough for the great time that was spent on your well cared for property. My husband and I chose this venue for our wedding in late March. Right from the very beginning the hosts were incredible to work with and made the whole process very easy. The venue looked absolutely stunning on the day, the views from our spot for the ceremony were amazing and the area used for reception is so well thought out and generous in size. I very highly recommend this as a wedding venue and I imagine it would be equally amazing if you stayed as a BnB guest.

Had my sisters wedding here over the weekend. The location is just amazing, gorgeous views, a wonderful and tidy property. The owners are the loveliest hosts. We were up all Friday setting up for Saturday and all Sunday morning to clean up and through the entire weekend the owners were super helpful and accommodating to us. On the actual day they coordinated with the vendors to ensure the venue was found easily and they took the photographer around to see all the best photo spots while we were all busy getting ready. They truly were amazing and the venue is stunning.Thank you so much for the wonderful weekend!

First time to visit. Warmly greeted by both owners husband & wife.Beautifully presented lodge with well manicured gardens. Polished look interior.only walked down the hallway.Recommended venue for all special ocassions especially weddings.

We recently had our wedding at Connemara and it couldn't have been more perfect! Kevin and Grainne were the most amazing hosts, from start to finish they were determined to make our day everything we ever imagined and they certainly did this! The day before they had everything out that we needed and ready to go to start set up, the vendors had been called to ensure they knew where they were going even Max's outfit was chosen. They didn't stop the entire day, my only regret is I didn't get to sit down and have a drink with them! Thank you so much for making our dream come true, I will be recommending your venue to anyone who is looking to get married or even just have a wee get away in the future! Absolutely beautiful venue with spectacular views. 1000% recommended to those wanting a relaxed yet fun and easy set up event!

Connemara Country Lodge was the perfect location for our lockdown wedding.Kevin and Grainne were amazing to deal with through the whole process. Our plans were up in the air and kept changing even in the days leading up to the wedding, due to changing Covid restrictions; but Kevin and Grainne were patient and understanding. They had helpful recommendations for vendors and really accomodated our needs.The lodge itself was a great location, with beautiful views of the NZ landscape for our overseas guests on Zoom. We were able to have our small wedding in their outdoor marquee which meant we could keep things outside despite rain on our wedding day!Really appreciated the service and lovely location, would highly recomend.- Ted & Yasuyo

Went to the Pethybridge / Carney wedding. What a magnificent place (even in the rain). The Hosts are a truly amazing couple.

Just had our daughter's wedding hosted there. Fantastic venue ,hosted to perfection. So glad she chose to have it there.

Had the very real pleasure of attending our daughter's wedding at the Connemara Country Lodge in February 2023 and what a treat it was...thanks in no small part to the venue itself...and its brilliant warm and accommodating hosts...and Max the friendly laid back border collie!The facilities setting and views, the lodges comfortable farmhouse charm and the variety of facilities present all add up to something a bit special.Anyone who enjoys a stay or an event at this homely venue will carry great memories of the place with them for a long, long time.
