Great beach. Nice spot to sit and enjoy the waves breaking on the shore or watch the container ships on the horizon as they wait for their turn in the port at Ahuriri. Not a bad spot for swimming either in warmer weather.

Nice beach but no facilities or picnic area. Rubbish dumped in the area was very sad to see.
