The app for our security system inexplicably locked us out several months after it was installed. Matthew spent a considerable amount of time carefully and patiently explaining how to reinstall the app until we identified the problem. Despite needing to repeat the process a number of times at no time did he express any frustration or impatience and stayed with it until everything was ok. This level of service was first class. It also mirrored the professionalism shown by Dianne in explaining possible options at the outset of the process.

I ask Action Security, in Christchurch, to go to 1 of my units and sort out why the alarm on the new roller door I had installed by another contractor would not work.They went to site ok but did not fix the alarm and did not let me know they had not fixed it. They expect me to pay for the job they did not do.I will not use them again and suggest others also use a different company that can be trusted to do the job they are employed to do.I see Action Security has replied but not sure how to reply to their reply so will add below.Why should I contact you again, I did at the time with no result. I have dealt with it already. As I have suggested previously, take me to the disputes tribunal and give me the oppurtunity to clear my name.You Action Security" listed me with a debt collection agency and therefore tarnished my credit reputation even though the fault was your companies. I do not intend employing your company again and posted my review so others can see how you treat your customers when you "fail" those same customers."

I was recently burgled and had alarm ripped off wall and hanging on the floor with all sorts of exposed wiring. Rang after hours Action number, who had serviced alarm in the past and had a tech out pretty quickly. He was excellent (Kharmis was his name), got the alarm working again and had one of their sales people contact me the next day which they did. They came out promptly also and followed up with a quote to upgrade expeditiously. Had the upgraded system installed within 10 days. My problem is that it is not made clear verbally that payment was to be made upon completion and payment is not even really the issue here. You are given a pink slip that as I have now been made aware is your acceptance to pay straight away. I had the alarm all fitted and working by 4.00 pm Wednesday and Action's receptionist ringing me on Thursday @ 8.30 am asking me where payment was? Her delivery was unprofessional and demanding. Didn't want to know about insurance involvement only that it is in your name and you are liable for it and this is company policy. When a complaint, outlining both conversatoins had with their receptionist regarding this matter, was made to their office manager and MD the response was We do apologise for the timing of phone call yesterday and we are sorry that you found her call re payment of your accounts upsetting however she was only following company policy. The payment terms on our quotation and the Pink forms signed by yourself all state that full payment is expected on completion of the job." If company policy is to be disrespectful
