Best burgers I’ve ever had! The sauce in Mallory is amazing! Staff are super friendly and I love the crispy chips too. Will definitely be back

I was pleasantly surprised at the revamped train. My Mickey Burger was the tastiest ever! It had great atmosphere and plenty of seating inside and out. I will be back and take my family as I know my elderly Dad would enjoy it. The menu caters for vegans too. Access is good for anyone with mobility issues having ramps. Well worth a visit.

Initially visited when you had a burger and hot wing festival and unfortunately, the demands of the day were too much. Coming back a month later to finally experience the food, it was great, burger and loaded fries (and beer) were so tasty.

Hands down the best burger joint in Taranaki. I may go as far and say the best in the country. As an expat from the States, your Mickey rivals the best of the best I’ve consumed in my homeland. And your fries (chips, ok chips) are always perfection. Excellent customer service (even fulfilling last minute orders) and overall, a winner for the region. I hope the village supports and appreciates the gem they have and keep up the fantastic work!

This place is a bona-fide top tier smash burger mecca, which we discovered by accident walking through oakura. Great food, amazing venue in an old train, could not have been more impressed!

Really good. The smash burger was deeeelish! Nice crisp on the outside and definitely moist on the inside. Loaded hamburger fries were good and so was the popcorn chicken. Service was wonderful

Fantastic burger. Had the Mickey with bacon and fries. Nice meaty flavoured patties. Overall a juicy burger. Why are chips/fries so amazingly good in New Zealand? Lovely outdoor setting.

Cute as set up as old school train, our 11 year old loved it. Very busy but service wait wasn't too bad. Nice food, not a huge menu.
