Mr Circle

Must go.They have Chinese crepes, kind of a taco or a kebab style. They prepare the dough and ingredients in front of you, so creates more of an experience. But the most important: Tastes amazing; the dough based on eggs has some grains and spring onions too, I choose a chicken and veggie filling which was seasoned perfectly. Generous portion and very nice staff.I’ll be back soon!!

Was super excited to try this place but was unfortunately underwhelmed. The pork one was okay, but the tofu one was just so bland :( I dined in dear noodle where they brought out the crepes to us which was really nice as it is attached to mr. Circle. I really want to like this place though, so I’ll probably try something else on the menu next time.

Soo good! We stumbled upon this place and were not disappointed. We were after something quick and easy for on the go and the Chinese crepe was the perfect item. Would highly recommend!

The good: the Chinese crepes (we tried belly pork & bacon and just belly pork) were yummy, full of crunchy elements and had a generous, rich filling. We also had the curry noodle soup with pork and this was a large bowl of noodles in a laksa-like soup with a generous serving of fatty belly pork. The bad: the soup arrived quickly but the crepes were quite a wait and they can only cook one at a time so if you’re ordering +1 crepes, then your dining companion will nearly finish eating theirs before your crepe arrives. Also, we dined in at Dear Noodle (where you had to order) and the place was severely understaffed. There seemed to be only 2 employees, one at the front cooking the crepes, the other taking orders in Dear Noodle and cooking the noodle dishes. When we arrived, there were literally dirty dishes on every single table. One employee only started clearing away these dirty dishes when we left, 45 minutes later. So overall, we liked the food and found the dishes to be excellent value for money, however it’s definitely not a ‘quick bite’ and dining in was not a pleasant experience when understaffed.

One of the best noodle I had in Wellington! The portion was huge and the soup broth was full of flavour. Mr Circle is definitely my new go to noodle restaurant.

Yummy jianbing. We were happy that we found them in Wellington. It is as authentic as jianbing can be outside of China. Good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Chinese street food that westerns would love. Served by friendly people.

So delicious! We tried the chicken and the pork and both were great. Plus the guy is super friendly and chatty, so you can either stand and watch and chat or if it's a freezing, windy, rainy day, he's more than happy for you to wait inside the adjacent noodle restaurant, I assume they are jointly owned.

I order tomato soup base rice noodles every time and I really love it!

Chinese version of the European crepe - ‘Jian Bing’. Service was extremely fast and the food was so satisfying. Lots of sauce and the crispy wonton skin inside gave the crepe a nice crunch! Great for anyone looking for some delicious Chinese street food. Seats available in the capital market food court next to this.
