New World Ilam
This quiet New World, may be not too big, but it is not the smallest either. Pretty decent size, it also has some nice pasta, tomato sauce and flour. Items like these are important as actual organic. They don't use Canadian wheat which contains herbicide. Tomatoes, also, are not overloaded with vinegar. Meat here is also very good, we always end up here to get some beef or pork. Staff is well prepared and helpful. Recommend

Kids get free fruit to keep them busy. They also have a kids trolley and kids car (cost $2 per visit). Always nice and clean, products are displayed nicely and clearly on the shelves. I find most staff nice and friendly. Always a staff member there to help pack your groceries while another staff member scans at the check out. Ample carpark. However, it is more expensive than the other brands of supermarkets, but you do get some discounts if you have a member card with them which costs nothing to obtain.

If I could rank 0 I would. Very very expensive supermarket. What I could get at paknsave for $280. Cost me $420 at new world and I actually got much less. Staff are all young and rude. Don’t seem interested to be there at all. This is such a rip of supermarket. I would never recommend it here. You can save quite literally over $100 of you go to paknsave

When I think of NZ supermarkets, I get irate. I don't know where Ilam is anyway, no-one would guess NZ. Every item in this shop requires a card to not be ripped off like a dairy. Milk - card special, got your card? No? $6 then. Great scam - you get card, yeah?

It has everything you need. Coffee shops busy and free coffe with certain spend. Lotto with second chance draw. Great fish selection, bakery, deli and best range of wine and beers for a supermarket. Friendly and helpful staff. Self-service. Events with freebies and tastings. Wide aisles and not stacked high.
