We had ordered fries, southern style fried chicken and nachos. Big portions and delicious. Reasonable prices. Place was beautiful. No high chair for infants and toddlers. Toilets are clean.

Dined in at the restaurant, did not stay in their rooms. Food was very good, especially the loaded wedges. Serving size was huge, we had difficulty finishing the food. They had both indoor and outdoor dining areas, each with their own unique charm. The two fireplaces were warm and cozy.

Stopped for a drink on our way to the west coast. Service was below average and we had to remind them we were still waiting for our drinks 30 mins later. Wasn't busy so it was a bit disappointing.In saying that it is an awesome historical place to visit and is worth a visit, even if just to get photos.

We stayed one night on 12.03.2023. I informed the Hotel we will check in late on the day via email before we head to NZ. They respond my email very efficient and provided more information about the hotel and surrounding. On the day the Manager called me to ensure we won't get hungry when we arrived the hotel late. When we arrived, the staff (the Asian girl from Malaysia) is welcome us very warmly and helpful. We really appreciate the Team to take care us well. The hotel is unique. The coffee and cheese scone are very yummy.

The restaurant space a perfect, exceptional service, lovely feeling inside, they knew we were coming, absolutely amazing food and presentation. We had a lovely evening celebrating a family birthday. Food for all age groups although teenager's have left the kids' menu so they have got very expensive now.

Stopped here for a late lunch on our way back from Wanaka. Absolutely loved the place. The food was good and house beer was good too. The lamb burger was amazing. So for me it's a must visit pub/bistro.

Cardrona Hotel
Staying at this historic hotel was a great experience. The rooms were beautifully renovated and very comfortable. The bar has a cozy fireplace and great atmosphere. We would like to give a special thanks to Dean the duty manager for offering to help with our petrol issue. This was way beyond excellent friendly service. We highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We visited the historic Cardrona Hotel while driving over the Crown Range. Such a cool old place that has been beautifully restored. We only had time for coffee which we enjoyed outside in front of a wood fire. Next time we plan to stay for longer. Excellent customer service from friendly staff.

My husband & I were part of a group of 5 adults & 5 children who stayed for 4 nights in July 2020. We were very impressed how spacious, clean & warm this house was & very well equipped. Highly reccommend. Thankyou So Much.
