A must visit!Rebecca is so lovely, knowledgeable and personable. My fiancé and I were looking for our engagement ring for a long time before we finally found that perfect ring at Youngs Jewellers. We couldn't be happier and would like to leave a thank you massage for such a wonderful experience. We asked a lot of questions and took a long time to make our final decision - more like I loved many rings that were shown to me and it was very hard to choose one. I took some gold jewellery to be sold as scrap. The owner Rebecca was having an altercation with another customer for over 10 minutes whilst I waited. I interjected to be told rudely to wait. Once the other customer left I was told a piece of my jewellery wasn’t 9ct gold so she wouldn’t accept it. I asked if she would remove a diamond on an earring so I could keep it. She replied ‘ If you can get it off yourself’ I left feeling annoyed. Her whole attitude was dismissive and entitled. Later that day I called her on the phone and asked to keep the diamond for me. She said it had already gone through a crusher. She said that she has lots of small diamonds if I wanted to have one. I wanted it posted. She was too busy. Subsequently I sold the so called not gold to another jewellers. The rudest encounter I’ve ever had

This beautiful jewellery store should be an attraction for visiting Christchurch. Everything is so artfully presented and the jewellery pieces in this store are so exquisite, elegant, fabulous, classic... EXCELLENT 5 star experience!!!
