Mike was a great host for the day, integrating our group and had a great knowledge of the wine, the area and its history. He also added additional information to that offered by the winery hosts which made sure there was a complete story told. There was no pressure to buy any wine at any of the tastings, despite the number and variety offered. We were both pleasantly “mellow” by the end of the day! It was unhurried, everyone had a great time and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone who wanted a good “taster” of New Zealand’s wine

We had an excellent tour with Mike today. Pick up right on time and dropped back door to door. We had a great chat about wine preferences and where might be best to try. Morning was spent trying a range of wines at three vineyards (whites and reds) then an excellent lunch which we enjoyed as the group sharing travel tips. Then onto a final vineyard in the afternoon which included dessert wine given our preferences. It's easy to see why Jade Tours is rated five stars and we wouldn't hesitate to book with Mike. Thanks again!

Highly recommended. A great wine tour conducted by Mike, a knowledgeable and entertaining guide to the region. A small, clean, comfortable bus made for a personable and fun morning and afternoon, visiting five wineries and a chocolate factory.

Took a wine tour today, booked through tripadvisor. Our host was Sue, who allowed me to sit up front as I was travelling alone. Visited 3 wineries plus a lunch stop. Sue was the perfect host - knowledgeable, entertaining and informative. No wonder this company is so highly rated. Excellent day out and highly recommended.
