Customer service here is always horrible. Staff basically don’t want to know you. I’ve never once had a friendly staff member. I’ve been back a few times hoping for a different experience but always the same. Food is average and over priced. So disappointing

Half an hour ago went into our wonderful big bake. Brought hot cross buns and a punnet of wedges for snack while waiting to get home for the real reason of being out couldn’t wait to get home. Mouth dripping thinking how the butter dripping down my mouth that wonderful cinnamon taste. How ever I have never brought hot cross buns anywhere other than supermarket brand. This year I changed up. Yum yum yum it was worth it. You never disappoint big bake your hot cross buns are the greatest……thank you worth. Issy

Big Bake Bakery was good but my coffee cappuccino was not great. Too much milk. However, the food looks reasonably priced and they already have cakes for celebration occasions. We went on Saturday and we had to park in the Mitre Ten area. So, parking is a challenge when it is busy. We did not have to wait for long for our coffee

Make the best biscuits! Over holidays we went back 4 times to get more. They also have a special to buy 3 packets for $20. Well worth it. Different flavours to choose from too

$6.50 for the most average pie you’ll ever taste, served with a side of rude and unenthusiastic staff. It’s clear this place doesn’t care about its customer service and their customers in general. Avoid coming here at all costs.

Wrap was nice n fresh. But the coffee was... i felt like its not esspresso shots but just instant coffee. Service was good. All the cabinet foods look very fresh! just get coffee somewhere else.

Pie is expensive for flavor, I’d say it’s same quality as supermarket frozen pie, bought 2 different pies but all taste bit sour I don’t know why. unenthusiastic staff and wobbly table…can’t believe bakery like this still can running nowadays.

Convenient located bakery in heart of Fashion Island, Papamoa, Tauranga. Plenty of space to move about and vast array of baked goodies available, but quite pricey depending on your budget. Unfortunately, the steak & mushroom pie I ate only just warm, not hot like I would have expected. The toilet only one needed a clean as cobwebs could be seen, and the hand soap dispenser had no soap. Very busy though and obviously well patronised, but may need a little lift in standards in areas.

Food was brilliant and customer service was fine dunno what some of the reviews on here are talking about. Customer service workers don't exist to stroke your ego, go get some friends. Thanks Big Bake will be back again

Big Bake Bakery
I’ve been to Big Bake countless times since it very first opened circa 2006. It was good but its offerings some 17 years later have not changed. If its successful by sticking to the years old offerings, good on them. What really lets it down though is indifferent and rude customer service.
