Sew & Sew Alterations

Took my pants in to be altered as they were to long for me, Lady did a great job of making them a better length for me and not expensive either. Got my pants back the next day.

Drove from town at 245pm as was recommended only to see an “away for 30 min notice”. Bit unprofessional and a waste of 45 minutes of my own work in the middle of the day.

Lovely and friendly service with high quality tailoring.

Disappointed that the trouser hems were uneven by 5mm. One leg was longer than the other. Service was fast and otherwise fine.

The alterations were completed on the day as promised, and exactly as i had asked, the service was great.

Great craftsmanship, they did an amazing job, and the shop has a lovely vibe with friendly staff.

VERY disappointed. Asked for a dress with a diagonal overlay to be hemmed and explained it was for a person in care. I needed a large 20cm cut off so the overlay would need to be looked at too.After picking it up I found the overlay hadn't been touched. The lady said she could fix, for ANOTHER FULL CHARGE!!She wanted me to pay for HER INABILITY TO LISTEN when I first brought it in. She also couldn't care less that she messed up.We all make mistakes, but you need to own them. This lady is only interested in your money. Would never go here again or recommend to anyone else.EDIT: Thanks for your comment, but as I said, you agreed originally to hem 'the dress' for your original price. Since you can't see reason, I am not prepared to come in and pay $60 to get a dress hemmed.

We had a great experience at sew and sew alterations. The women mended our sleeping bag zipper for just $15 and was happy to to it on the same day! It seemed like a busy day but she still made time!

This place was recommended to me by someone by word of mouth. The lady in there is a one-woman-band and calls it like it is. Her quote to change a zip on a jacket wasn't cheap but at least she explained why it was so pricey. Will definitely go there again.

Linda and Anna are so good at what they do. Friendly service, excellent results. I have been going to Sew and Sew for many years. Highly recommend!
