Mangere East Laundrette

Long gone are the days where we had decent shops in this mall.Just like Mangere Bridge, Mangere Town Centre, Middlemore/Savill Drive, Otahuhu, Papatoetoe, Hunters Corner, Otara, this mall is full fast-food and Junk shops.Other then popping into the supermarket for basic supplies (Not a fully stocked store), the only reason I have to come here is to do my banking (again only basic banking services) fill my prescriptions with Hunts Chemist (Sorry but dont like them over the neaby Unichem) maybe pop in to 2 Brothers for my morning coffee and pie... Ocassionly I might get a lazy Kentucky Fried or pop into the Library.Dont really have reason any reason to come here... Never found the Vege Shop across the road any good either.My family GP of 37 years is in Greenlane, never changed practices from when we left One Tree Hill for Mangere East in 1988. Have had brilliant doctors so why did I need to lol.Its sad that sadly our little village shops lost decent stores, given we had 3 to 4 (main Banks ) just before we moved in...We are lucky to still have a full service NZ PostShop with Lotto and Kiwibank (Transactional Services) as their PARENT" companies constatly review these.Lets hope the future will bring back little mum and dad (family owned) businesses with stuff we actually need

The man told me off for folding my clothes in there. He said that it occupies the place. However, there was no one using the dryer and there were other empty dryers. I was very disappointed by their customer service!!!!! Try bad!!!!

Unfortunate focus on fast foods and health ... long term chemist and kiwibank ... 3 doctors ... 2 dairies and a supermarket ... 2 bakeries ... 4 takeaways

GO TO LAUNDRY DOCTOR INSTEAD!!!HE AND HIS WIFE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN BIG CHILDREN LOADS. TOLD US THEY DIDN'T WANT TO DO OUR WASHING. ASKED ME TO PAY EXTRA OR LEAVE!! HIS WIFE GRABBED HER PHONE RECORDING ME AS I WAS TRYING TO LEAVE AND PUT MY HUGE LOAD BACK IN CAR. I WAS LATE AS LAUNDRY DOCTOR HAD CLOSED 7pm. HE DONE THE SAME THING TO MY CHILDRENS FATHER. I ALMOST FORGOT TO SAY THAT HE LOOK SCARED WHEN I SAID I'M GOING TO PUT IT ON INTERNET + $6.50 for large wash and he expects you to use 2 $13.00.

Great service, used them for over 10 years, ever week. Cheap price, clothes always come out clean smelling amazing:) highly recommend them as a laundromat! The husband and wife that run it are lovely, when I have multiple bags they always help bring a bag to my car. Lovely people
