Masterfully done accomodations. A large house that could fit many people. It had a washing machine which was fantastic. The meal was outstanding and delicious. The breakfast was generous and gave good variety and the packed lunch was very yummy. I loved the view although I struggled to log into their wifi. I would stay here again

Absolutely lovely place to stay for several nights. Though we are not arriving in its best weather, I can’t describe the feeling when we drove hours in the cold rain, then stop before a warm fireplace with almost everything you need. Would be back in future.

Absolutely amazing place to stay we enjoyed an excellent night at Station Cottage while riding the Alps to Ocean. The meal was outstanding and delicious, Julia had prepared the steak and salmon with all the trimmings. The breakfast was generous and gave good variety and the packed lunches were divine. The view up the lake towards Mt Cook was picture perfect.

Omg what a place you do not want to leave here. We staid at Pine Cottage. What a view from there. The host was really friendly and kind. Thank you. We will be back but then we book more then 1 day. Greetings Jeamba and Monique

Enjoyed an excellent stay at Station Cottage. Though not as modern as the newer cottages, it maintains a nice rustic charm.Lake Tekapo town is a 30 min drive via a back country gravel road.Host was wonderful, our stay was throughly enjoyable.

10/10 This place is a true gem. Our family of four loved it and we will definitely be back.On arrival the fire was lit and the house was absolutely perfect. The only thing we noticed was the queen bed was slightly too hard for me but my wife didn't mind.There were no instructions for the stay but common sense here prevails.The road to the property is a gravel road running alongside the lake which is in great condition.I suggest taking your best cooking and wine for a lovely stay.

We stayed in Pine Cottage for a couple of nights a few years ago. Beautiful mesmerizing blue water views is the best reason for staying at this cottage. Quaint original style inside with nice outside area if the weather is not too cold or wet. Wood fireplace makes it feel very cozy. Plenty of room.It's obviously not a 5 star hotel but that's not why you'd stay here, its the 5 star view and the peace and quiet that you are here for!

Arrived on a cool drizzly night to find both the log fires running in the house.The steak and salmon were deliciously prepared.It had everything we needed - would highly recommendThe views from the shearer’s lodge were amazing
