Great experience and good staff.

We had such an amazing trip, it is difficult to compare something else to this experience. Just a bunch of blokes on a boat for the weekend, fishing and having cold ones. Graig was very helpful and friendly and looked after us very nicely. The facilities on the boat was really good and tidy. Something I would like to experience again and I would definitely recommend Graig and this charter.

I recently went on a weekend fishing trip with my family to celebrate my grandfather's 80th birthday on board Whitianga Charter's boat Celebre. We were all disappointed by the skippers poor management, planning and attitude towards helping us have a successful fishing trip. The skipper (Craig) double booked the boat so we had to cut our trip a day short and he never once allowed us to try and catch a Kingfish after he was told numerous times that's what we were desperate to do. What was even worse was that he spent more time fishing himself than half of the members of our group which really sucked considering there wasn't even enough rods set up for our group. This is one of the worst business operations that I've ever experienced and my suggestion would be to avoid Whitianga Charters if you wanted to go fishing in the Coromandel.
