After the earthquake I needed a bunch of flowers for a friend of my son who’s mother had died in the CTV building. At the time the city was in chaos and I called Miss Feaver Florist, not expecting to get anyone as everything was closed, from memory I got the owner on the phone at home, I think, she was so kind and I had a paltry $20 cash and she gave me a huge bunch of flowers that would have been expensive both to a customer and also to the owner.“$20 is great” she said “it makes me tear up as I write this”. I wanted a bouquet for a bereavement and the staff were wonderful. Got exactly what I envisaged. Very reasonable price and flowers impressive. I remember Miss Feaver Florist from almost 50 years ago, were awesome then. Live out of town now, but popping into store this morning, service, quality and freshness is as good as it was over 50 yrs ago. Highly recommend.
