Southshore Spit Reserve
Really popular place to visit! I grew up not far from the spit so whether your walking your dog, an outing with the kids or just exercising, like many other public beach tracks up the coast its always worth a visit, especially in the summer.

Southshore Spit Reserve
Nice place for a walk or dog walking but sad as bushes have overgrown on some of the walkways and beach access. You can see the beautiful view of Redcliffs and Sumner Beach here. Good place to meditate. There is a bench facing Redcliffs and another one along the walk track facing Sumner.

Nice walk around the spit and the mouth of the estuary. Lots of bird life, fishing in the channel and views.

Long way to drive here down the spit. Nice views when you get here but it's a relatively small area and few facilities, only a toilet. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but if you're in the area sure.
