Great place! Friendly staff! Food was brilliant! Had lunch and two dinners there!!! The fisherman’s platter is the best I have ever had! Even had live music out the back in the garden bar on a Sunday arvo! Highly recommend

Have never stayed just eaten at restaurant and food is always yummy. Great place to go with kids as the outside area at the back gives them space to play so you can enjoy eating with friends.

Have not been here in a while and this is usually an awesome place to get a Pizza and a beer or three. It was not overly busy with quite a few spare tables but the service was shocking. Once we made our order, our server forgot what drinks we had ordered - initially no biggie - and, after asking again, came back with the wrong Cider. We had it anyway as it was a nice cider. After an hour, no food had turned up so we paid for our drinks and left. When paying, was told our food was one of the next in line to start cooking and will be appx 15-20 minutes from there.I hope this was just a one-time thing as, if not, this place has gone downhill

Had to leave in middle of night. Nightclub across the road was playing techno dance music till 1am, and there was no chance of sleeping. Drove through night to get home instead.

Had the Seafood Platter and it was great. Fish, chips, octopus, calamari. Fresh and good size for two. The hotel has indoor & outdoor seating. Nice old heritage building and the team are always run off their feet (but really friendly & helpful). Town is busy and worth a stop at this pub for good food and cold beer.

Had lunch here with some mates while on holiday, food was okay. We ordered the calamari hoping it would be nice and fresh being close to the water but wasn't great. They also had a special for shoe string fries at the time so I was like maybe we'll get some of those, it came out about 20 minutes after ordering and they were curly fries and weren't even hot. Staff were nice but wait times were a bit long for how little people were there. Food quality I would give a 3/5, maybe didn't order the right meal but that's my thoughts on the place.

First off,1) our family had gotten the wrong room that had a broken bunk that my adult daughter couldn’t even climb up on with sore knee and no ladder.2) No water in rooms or good pressure3) Loud cleaning staff in hallways waking us4) 4x Burgler alarms over two nights in middle of night waking usHowever we did get our money back with no issues and the roomChanged when they could.Like they say, you WILL hear all pub noises in evenings. Great location and balcony.

Very cool place to stay. Our room was very small but the balcony would be great in warmer times
