Mackies rest is a great place just to sit down and look over the Reservoir after you walked the length of the Pipeline from titirangi end

A beautiful walk along the pipeline. Well formed trail, plenty of native flora and parking generally OK at the Titirangi end of the walk.

Lovely sunshine and view, you can drive there, cycle there along Exhibition Drive or walk there along the Beveridge or Pipeline tracks

A great starting point for the Beveridge track and a nice walk up to the Arataki visitor’s centre. There are Nikau along the track and it is not unusual to see Kereru, Tui and Piwakawaka.It is well maintained and wide, with only a small portion at the end which is steep.The parking area is at the end of a fairly narrow path, so go slowly.
