What a great spot (I wish I'd discovered years ago) for a celebration. We booked here for a 40th birthday and had the private room upstairs with a dedicated server, who bless them, did soo many trips up the stairs with all our food and cocktails... with great humor I must add! Excellent service, exceptional food in the Tapas menu - extensive choices, delicious cocktails! A beautiful location with loads of ambience.

Wow. This was some of the best food I have ever tasted. The quality was absolutely top notch. Price was very reasonable for how amazing the food was. Huge compliments to the chefs. The service my wife and I received was fantastic as well. Super friendly and extremely professional. Full table service. Very grateful to how patient the waitress was with our indecision of food haha. When we were there we ordered the middle eastern falafel balls, vine fries, mushroom risotto, iced chocolate and sweetheart cocktail. All were absolutely delicious but the mushroom risotto was to die for. Seriously recommend that to everyone!

The service and food at this Restaurant is excellent but be very aware the portions are very small. I had the rack of lamb and all I got was three very small lamb chops with mushy peas -- sorry don't believe the price of $43. For that was good value.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, great atmosphere and the food was delicious. I had the venison, my partner had the duck and we shared a side dish of beautiful whole baby carrots in truffle butter. Both meats were really tender and so tasty. Then the manager (I think) went out of his way and googled how to make a South African Don Pedro alcoholic dessert drink for me when I asked if they serve it. It was such a lovely thing to do and such a great effort and service to do this for a customer. He also got one his staff to fix the annoying constant beeping of the automated slidey doors to the restaurant. Awesome stylish, artistic interior decor too. Highly recommended.

We were able to get a table for 3 on a Friday night without reservation. A nice stop on the way to Napier. Delicious onion soup. Shared plates are enough for 3. Good service and front of house is appreciated.

Food was excellent, couldn't fault it one bit. Waiter service was very good. Glad we boked early however we really wanted to experience dessert but waited more than 30mins after finishing mains and then was told they didn't know how long dessert might take so we decided to finish there. Disappointed after the great food.

Amazing experience. Ask for Mike when it comes to the cocktails, an absolute genius who crafted them to perfection. All the food (we had a selection of entrees) was very tasteful and well designed. Will be returning specifically for this restaurant.

Went in as a group of 4, shared amazing tappas - vine yoghurt flat bread, char grilled nz beef fillet, scallop mornay, Mediterranean lamb cutlets, falafel balls with cucumber yoghurt, free range pork belly, potato bravas, and paella balls- The favourites were nz beef, lamb cutlets and pork.for dessert we shared sticky Date, coconut panacotta, creme Brulee, and limencello meringue. favourites were creme Brulee and sticky date .As for cocktails - the warm apple pie which consisted of warm brandy, apple juice, butterscotch and soft cream - we ordered multiple as everyone who tried it raved about itGreat service, amazing ambience.

Had a Cajun fried soft-shell crab and a seared scallop risotto. Both were great, especially the crab. Always great staff, who were running around like busy bees.Very busy night so was glad I booked a table the day before.

Down in Taupp for some car racing friends invited me out to have dinner with them the atmosphere was nice the decor was interesting but lighting was a little dim. The food was super yummy will be back
