blocked off at night meaning if you need to charge your car on a road trip after 8pm you’re stranded until they open at 6:30 in the morning. They need to fix this asap.

Good location within the supermarket carpark and near town. However don't go too early as the entrance to the supermarket carpark is chained off at night and didn't open until 6:30am.

This charging station is the last one on the way to Taupo. Depending on your range after charging here you should easily be able to get to either Hamilton or Cambridge.
