River Oaks Retreat

Am amazing spot to relax and unwind with friends. I stayed here with the girls. Couldn’t have been more comfortable. Beautifully appointed and furnished. River an absolute treat for a refreshing Autumn dip followed by the hot tub with a wine. Faultless.

Awesome place to hold a wedding. Fabulous utilities, owners a joy and so very accommodating, helpful and welcoming. Lovely environment and great facilities.

We just had our wedding at River Oaks Retreat and it is truly such a magical weekend. The space is absolutely stunning and all of our guests as well as ourselves had a great time in a real slice of luxury! The glamping cabins are amazing with all the little details tied together so nicely to make them just stunning.Mel is such a wonderful woman, her energy is absolutely contagious and as all of our guests said - her and her team made the weekend! She really thinks of everything and made it so stress-free and enjoyable!We all had so much fun and can't wait to come back ♥️

From the moment we arrived till the moment we left we had an amazing time. Stunning location. Beautiful hot tub, delicious food from the farm. River dips and gazing across farmland to deer and cattle. Highly recommend.

Such a wonderfully relaxing time to get away from everything. The farm and river are stunning and the safari tent and hot tub so luxurious. We left feeling thoroughly relaxed and refreshed.

Glamping leveled up! We stayed at the Safari Tent on Riverside Farm and I cannot recommend it enough. Stunning views and a feeling of getting back to nature, but with all the comforts of home still. A beautiful river is just a short walk away if you fancy a brisk swim, the Zen Den located just another two minute walk along the river if you would prefer to be chilling next to the river instead of in it. And if cold water isn't for you, just head to the end of the safari tent deck for a hot tub. We loved seeing the neighbourhood deer, cattle and alpacas roaming in the grass and forested areas too. Quite magical. This is a really eco friendly place, you can spot the solar panels out the back of the property and compost bins and recycling areas are provided, so just make sure to read the instructions of what to switch on and off etc and you'll know what's what.

This place is magical! All the modern luxuries available in the heart of the rolling hills of Katikati. The perfect spot to relax, unwind and recharge. The hosts have done an amazing job setting up this beautiful getaway and I would highly recommend this retreat to everyone I know.

What a wonderful place to step back from the hustle of life. The birds, the river…. The comfy bed and outdoor bath!! Off the grid but still creature comforts. Was only 25min from our home in Tauranga but felt like it was way out in the wilderness. Highly recommend.

I couldn't fault this little hideaway if I tried! Perfectly situated close enough to many walks and attractions, extremely private and serene! The host have done an amazing job setting this up and kept us feeling looked after. We loved our stay!!! I would highly recommend staying at River Oaks Cabin, if you're looking to unwind and relax.
