Dropped my documents for PR application- went through smoothly without issues. Only thing is there needs to be a receipt for dropping the documents to track the package.

Zero stars, sent application for visa transfer, no response, not taking any calls either. How hard is it transfer an evisa to a new passport with every bit of information provided. What is going on with Immigration NZ, the public has been completely shut out, left in the dark. They did not state they are too busy to take any calls, once you get through to all the options, tells you we can not take your call. This information should be made public that Immigration isn't equipped to support the general public. Still advertising contact for opening hours which is false because they are not taking any calls or anything pass the chosen option. Am not even sure if my husbands application was received or lost in the mail like the time they posted his passport to some stranger without processing his work visa expiring in 7 days. Luckly the stranger contacted me same day or else my husband would have been an overstayer due to Immigrations mistakes, no liabilty taken, ofcourse why would they ! This is how careless they are.

It's a very stupid system, I already waited for 4.5 weeks for my e-visa returning resident visa but I could not email, I rang the office via mobile but the cut me off. I don't have a landline to call the office on their 0800 number. Was thinking to go to their office personally but there is no walk in services. Very frustrated, wanted to know how to contact so I can get some answer whether my e-visa for returning visa issue and was expecting a letter and confirmation. How am going out of the country without the returning visa. On the site it says process within a 2 weeks. This is 4 weeks.

Sent my mother’s passport in 4 weeks ago for a visa transfer. To this day, no contact, no confirmation, no funds deducted. We are travelling out of the country in 2.5 weeks, and no means of contacting the office as they cut off our call thinking its an enquiry for the 2021 one-off visa!Was so much more convenient 10 years ago where we could just pop in and get the visa label transferred on the spot

Dropped my paper Subsequent Residency Visa Application off 4 weeks ago. And got my passport back by post and Permanent Residency Visa emailed to me this week!! I was really very worried after reading all the reviews/comments on here. All I can say is to have faith that if you have a straight forward case it will come through! Thank you immigration Nz, excellent service and one happy Permanent Resident! :-)

i never ever suggest dropping application in drop box, I have drpped it nearly 3 weeks ago, I have no confirmation yet if immigration recieved it? I am calling immigration, every day wait for 1.5 hours, hangs ups, no answers. So stressed now as I have sent my original documents in teh envelop as well.Any one had experience like that?

0 stars, I dropped my application and I want to know update about my file but the system just ends the call. Seems like Immigration NZ is not reachable to applicants. I cannot see any update on realme and once you call immigration and get through to all the options, tells you we cannot take your call and the call ends. Its so frustrating. I see a lot of people are facing same problem with drop box applications. I just hope this system and processing gets better because it definitely needs to update and make improvements.

Very convenient, it’s mentioned that the box is cleared daily on each weekday, which is excellent if it really happens. The box is easy to find.make sure you scan the Covid QR code on the main door but I’m not sure how the tracing happens with local people touching the entrance door handle.Other than that, it’s a great service and I personally prefer to drop off documents myself to avoid any delay by courier.
