Great revamp of the old Marina Restaurant into the Globe. Love the outdoor area with its own bar, spacious sitting and wonderful views.Bar snacks and drinks out in the bar and full menu indoor and veranda. Nice sharing plates and you need a few to fill up if coming for a meal. Tasty and well cooked plates, although do be aware of the smaller sizes. A teeny bit pricey but worth it!

Our second time dining at The Globe. The first time, for our 13th wedding anniversary, was splendid. This time we brought family and friends. The meal itself was great, with a lovely young German waitress who was friendly and helpful. However ...There was an older woman at the bar, who had been there on our first visit and had been friendly and helpful. On our second visit, this woman was very strange and extremely cruel to the young German waitress. Our group decided to pay individually which completely flummoxed her. The younger waitress, on a trial night, was absolutely incredible. She smiled throughout, was patient and kind, and managed to work though being shouted and sworn at by the older woman. This older woman was quite clearly under the influence of something - alcohol? Drugs? It wasn't clear, but she was slurring, her eyes couldn't focus, and three times she rudely forced the EFTPOS machine to me with the whole bill amount on despite one of our party already having paid for two. I almost paid it as the young waitress had said how much my bill was, but luckily I saw the amount in time. The older woman's demeanour and behaviour was completely unacceptable and I informed her we would never be returning due to the way she had treated the young waitress who left after being shouted and sworn at.I have tried to speak with the management to see if there was any legitimate reason why the older woman seemed to be in such a dreadful state, but have had no success.Our whole group was totally shocked and appalled by the older woman's behaviour.

Great location, prices very reasonable, food amazing, and cocktails even better! Really lovely customer service from the front of house staff. Restaurant was clean and warm too. Great place to go to eat and socialise with a group of friends! Highly recommend.

Just had a catch up outdoors at this venue, haven't yet experienced the dining. But for outdoors grabbing a drink and having a catchup, this outdoor bar thing was great, and the staff member was very attentive to our needs - ordering, tidying up the table and even deploying umbrellas when the weather decided to turn. Recommended.

Food is always great here. Great beverage selection. Nice view and very friendly staff.

The food was amazing here, absolutely loved the caviche and the creme brûlée! The service was quick which was nice but a little cold. Definitely highly recommended this place though
