Dudding Lake Motorcamp & Picnic Park

A hidden gem! Dudding was an awesome place to stop by for a bit of camping. Quint was friendly and helpful from the get-go and met us upon arrival. The site has everything you need (powered or non-powered) for easy no-fuss camping! All amenities (Toilets, hot showers, kitchen, laundry) you could need. It was very tidy, and well presented. We love no frills camping, if you do too then this is a wonderful place to discover. We'll be back just the two of us, and with the whole family. Can't wait to come again soon!

Great indoor venue with a nice deck and view outside....good facilities(kitchen/bar and bathrooms)and plenty of room inside for big numbers.

We only spent one night in a non-powered site. We really liked the campsite, it is a family site with a very nice lake to walk. The facilities are clean and in good condition. The owner was very friendly. :)

I was driving past Dudding and felt a strange magnetism to check out this natural wonder. It was very quiet when I arrived…eerily quiet. But since it’s free to visit I parked up and checked out the lake. Don’t expect one of the seven wonders, but expect a decent lake to JetSki on. Not really one to swim in…don’t take my word on it…the water wasn’t spectacular, so if you get a parasite please don’t blame me. All together was a fun experience and a nice place to relax after a long drive.

Was a beautiful little hidden gem we accidentally stumbled upon! Camping, park, toilets, swimming, it's free for day use or cost for camping. There is a hall you can hire and a short half walk around the little lake.

This is an excellent low-cost campground with a noticeable uplift in presentation since my last visit a year ago.It is family-focused, with a kid's playground, huge grass areas, wooden seats, and places to hang out.You can opt for power if required and camp closer to the facilities, or like us and Olli (dog) being fully self-contained, camped at the lake's northern end.The lake is a beautiful view with a casual 45mins walk around the edge, including plenty of bird-watching opportunities.Bear in mind this lake accommodates powered water sports, kayaks, and a swimming area. We visited during the week, and apart from a couple of jet skis, which we ended up watching; it was otherwise quiet.The facilities, although oldish, were clean, tidy and well-maintained.The staff were friendly, and I had a couple of great chats with Lance, who explained their journey over the past 6 months to slowly uplift the presentation of the park.Excellent value for money, and is one of my stop overs when travelling in this area.

Nice quiet spot. Great that you can bring your dog with you. $25 A night for a powered site for two. Clean facilites.
